We have been advised that FR78060 Huttopia Versailles will be reopening on 19th December and will then remain open continuously until 2nd November 2009. This excellent site, just 5 minutes from the Chateau de Versailles, is ideally placed for trips to Paris and is just 20 minutes from the Eiffel Tower!

Travelling to Slovenia?

From 1 July 2008, Slovenia introduced a "Vignette" system for motorway travel, which is compulsory if you wish to use the motorways in Slovenia.
The Vignette costs �35 and is valid for the rest of 2008. It is compulsory if you wish to use the motorways in Slovenia and can be purchased at petrol stations and DARS offices in Slovenia, and in neighbouring countries near the Slovene border. The police are monitoring motorway use, and are stopping motorists who do not have a Vignette. Failure to display a Vignette will lead to an on-the-spot fine of up to �300. If you are driving to Slovenia during the winter period, you should be aware that winter equipment is mandatory between 15 November until 15 March. This means that your car must be equipped with either winter tyres, or have snow chains and radial tyres with at least 4mm tread depth. You can be fined 125 Euros for not having this equipment, or 417 Euros if you cause a delay on the road for the same reason.
By law, you must have your headlights on at all times, while driving in Slovenia. You are also required to carry a reflective jacket, a warning triangle and a first aid kit in the vehicle

We have been advised that our directions to this campsite may be misleading.
The following directions are correct.
From the A20 exit 56 (Bastide, Murat, Rodez) take the D802 (Rodez, Decazeville, Figeac). In Figeac take D822 to Villefranche-de-Rouergue. From Villefranche take D911 towards Rieupeyroux. Site is clearly signed (towards Saint Salvadou). For caravans continue on the D911 for 7.5 km before turning right at the Solville crossroads (Carmaux D905A) and follow signs to site (5 km).
We apologise for any resulting inconvenience.

2008 marks the 50th anniversary of Beverley Holidays.
Much has been achieved over the 50 years and the parks have become an integral part of the area of Paignton and the wider Bay with many tourists visiting them over the years.
In 1956, builder and caravan enthusiast, Joseph Stanley Jeavons and his wife Marion had a dream of opening a caravan site in Torbay. They bought 21 acres of farmland in Goodrington with beautiful views over the Bay and moved from Womborne in Staffordshire with their three sons Peter, Alan and Michael. Beverley Park opened in 1959 with just 10 caravans, a few tents and a shop � with the famous Beverley Sisters as the inspiration for its name! Established as a successful family-run, Beverley Park earned its five-star status in 1975. At the time, it was just one of four parks to have been awarded this accolade in England. Beverley Holidays now consists of five parks over 42 acres, with 406 caravans, 23 lodges, 200 touring pitches and 30 privately owned caravans.
Beverley Holidays celebrated their 50th anniversary with an �All That Glitters is Gold� party. On the night, �1,236 was raised towards ovarian cancer in memory of Judith Jeavons.

It is actually the poultry market which has given the Louhans market its reputation. After all, the toen is situated in the home land of the famous Poulet de Bresse! You will find everything you�d expect at a good French market, from eggs, butter, cheeses to all other traditional local produce. The market is always busy, particulalry during the summer months. It is advisable to go to the market fairly early to get a good parking place. Louhans market is an absolute must when you visit Burgundy!
